The sea remembers every name I whispered to the tide,
every promise carved on the foam of a passing wave.
It keeps the echoes of my breath buried
in its salt-blue chambers of memory.
When I return, the ocean lifts itself to greet me—
a cathedral of moving water,
a restless god craving confession.
In its vastness I dissolve,
and for a moment, I am both the storm
and the stillness waiting after it.
